With only 3 games in hand and 2 of those being against Guyana, this is essentially Barbados’ last chance at a journey to the playoffs. Their lineup has a lot of talent, and now is the time to make the best of that. Whatever their results might be in the playoffs, bowing out before the second stage while defending your crown is inarguably one of the worst things that a team can do - especially when they won that crown against a team that was, until that point last season, completely invincible.

Of all the people who were looking forward to these two teams playing each other this season, no one could have been more impatient than Ghana. Barbados essentially took from them what was almost unquestionably theirs - and that too, after 6 years of waiting and 4 heartbreaks. Guyana will be more pumped than ever - especially after stomping over the Patriots on their way to this match. Should they win the next match, Barbados will most likely be too broken to put up a fight for the one after, and Guyana might even stand a chance to jump up to the top two births should the Zouks falter.
